Biography

Mohamed Hussein Yacoub is an Egyptian Salafi muslim scholar. Born in 1956 in Matimdiyah, his father was one of the founders of The Matimdiyah Islamic Association for Muslims to Unite Efforts to Act according to the Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad's Sunnah. Mohamed Hussein has given hundreds of lectures in Da’wah and became notorious in the West after many spouts of anti-Semitism and hatred against non-Muslims. Before gaining this notoriety, he lived in Saudi Arabia from 1980 to 1985, studying with Saudi clerics such as Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz and Muhammad ibn al Uthaymeen.

Evidence of Hate Speech/Incitement:

November 2020: In a video explaining why the West seeks to insult Prophet Mohamed using cartoons, the cleric said that Muslims are not allowed to live in Western societies.

2012: In his TV show “ Madarej El Salakin”, Yakoub stated that the jews cannot be our friends even if they leave Palestine.
